If you’re willing to apply for the Maharashtra Direct Benefit Transfer Scheme for the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), you must have the following categories under it and eligibility conditions accordingly:

Eligibility Criteria:
- You need to be a citizen of Maharashtra and holding a domicile certificate of the particular state.
- If you have completed your education from the deemed university, you should not apply for this scheme.
- If you are admitted to any of the technical or professional courses, can apply for this scheme. You must be a bonafide student of the institute only.
- The admission of students to the university should be through the process of the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
- If you’re enrolled in any other scholarship for the next 2 years, you are not eligible to avail of this scheme.
- An overall family income must not be more than Rs. 8 lakh per annum.
- Only 2 children of any family can avail of this scheme at a time.
- During the course, the gap between two semesters/ years must not be more than 2 years.
- Your attendance must be a minimum of 50% every semester.
