PFMS Pre Matric Scholarship for SC/ST Students

PFMS Pre Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes students will be provided by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment of the Government of India. This is a central government’s funded scheme. Only candidates who have passed the 10th class can apply for the particular scheme. This scheme is only available for SC/ ST students. Besides, there are some eligibility conditions that you need to satisfy for the successful submission of the application form as given below:

• You must pass the 10th board exam.
• You must pursue your education either in Class XI or Class XII. PFMS Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Students

PFMS Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Category) is a scheme launched by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment through States/ UT. This scheme greatly helps the OBC Category students to promote themselves for education after Class 10th. You will be able to get a certain amount under the PMS-OBC Post Matric Scholarship. PFMS Scholarship for post-matric students will assist the OBC students financially to continue their studies without hassles.

PFMS National Scheme for Incentive to Girl Child for the Secondary Education

This is the scheme of the Elementary Education Department that works under the Education Ministry of the Indian Government. With the help of this scheme, the government is trying to provide benefits to the girl child who is studying in any of the government-aided schools or government schools in the state. As the name suggests, the National scheme Incentives to Girls for Secondary Education (NSIGSE) is a scheme for the girl child to promote them for secondary education. The girl child who wants to apply for the particular scheme can go through an online method. This scheme is valid for 2 years only from the date of availing it. 

Eligibility Criteria

NSIGSE (National Scheme of Incentives to Girls for Secondary Education) is one of the prominent schemes for girls who want to continue their secondary education. But benefits of this scheme can only be taken by those girls who fulfil the following eligibility conditions:

• This scheme is applicable only to the female students of any Indian State.
• Applicants must belong to the SC/ ST Category.

PFMS Merit Scholarship Upgradation Scheme for SC Students

PFMS Merit Scholarship Upgradation Scheme is also started from the Scheduled Caste students in the country. This scheme aims to provide coaching for the SC/ ST students in Class 9th & 10th. So far, for this scheme 2050 students are selected. Under this scheme, your coaching will be started from Class 9th while it will last in Class 12th. This scheme is applicable only for those students who have made an exceptional performance in Class 9th, 10th, 11th, & 12th. PFMS Scholarship Top Class Education Scheme for SC Category Students

This scheme is also for the students who belong to the SC category. PFMS Top Class Education Scheme for selected SC students only. Under this scheme, only students who are studying any of the top 207 institutions including all IIMs, IITs, & NITs will be given benefits. The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment Through States /UT and Selected school’s Head of Institution are responsible for the management of this scheme.

Eligibility Criteria

Only eligible students will be given benefits of the PFMS Top Class Education Scheme of Scheduled Caste students. Read the following points to know the eligibility conditions for the PFMS top-class education scheme: 

• Students who are pursuing their courses under Engineering, Medicine/Dentistry, Law, Management, and others will be able to apply for the particular scheme.
• This scheme is only available for the SC Category students who are studying in the top 207 institutions of the country. You need to check the list of the particular institutions before filling in the application form. 
• The income of the student’s family from cumulative sources must not exceed Rs. 4.5 lakh per annum. 

Benefits

Under this scheme students will be given certain benefits as mentioned below: 

• Full tuition fee & other non-refundable charges up to Rs. 2.00 lakh per annum per student towards fees in the private institutions will be covered.
• Tuition & another non-refundable fee up to Rs.3.72 lakh per annum per student in private commercial pilot training institutions will be covered. 
• Apart from this, the government also provides expenses up to Rs.2220 per month per student.
• For books and stationery, students will be given Rs.3000 per annum.
• Besides, the latest computer with full accessories limited to Rs. 45000 per student as one-time assistance is also covered under the particular PFMS Scholarship scheme.
