• आपका आवेदन  निश्चित तिथियों के अंदर ही लिया जाएगा। अंतिम डेट के पश्चात किसी भी आवेदक का आवेदन स्वीकार नहीं किया जाएगा।
• राशन कार्ड के लिए आवेदन करने से पहले आपको  आय प्रमाण पत्र भी बनवाना होगा। आय प्रमाण पत्र आप किसी भी नजदीकी जन सेवा केंद्र पर जाकर बनवा सकते हैं। या ऑनलाइन माध्यम से भी आप घर बैठे ही आय प्रमाण पत्र के लिए अप्लाई कर सकते हैं।
• आपका आय प्रमाण पत्र आवेदन तिथि से 1 वर्ष के अंदर का ही होना चाहिए।
• जिन लोगों को राशन कार्ड आय के सत्यापन के बिना ही जारी कर दिए गए हैं, उन सभी लोगों को भी अपने आय प्रमाण पत्र क्षेत्रीय आपूर्ति कार्यालय में जमा करने होंगे.
• आय प्रमाण पत्र के लिए आवेदन करते समय नगरी क्षेत्र के निवासी की आय ₹ 3 लाख से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिए इसी प्रकार ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में निवास करने वाले लोगों की आय ₹ 2 लाख  से ज्यादा की नहीं होनी चाहिए।
