Jagananna Amma Vodi is a scheme proposed by the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan Mohan Reddy. After the win in assembly elections, he has asked to initiate the Jagananna ammavodi scheme and quickly sanctioned the orders. From 20 January 2020, the scheme will be implemented all throughout the state.
Under the Jagananna Ammavodi 2020-21 scheme will receive Rs 15,000 annually the amount will be given to the mothers of those who go to school. There was a cabinet meeting held where the chief minister announced the amount of Rs 15,000 which will be delivered via cheque. It is a welfare scheme for the students by the state government which is going to work in the entire state irrespective of any caste or creed.

- Families of school-going children will receive an amount of 15,000 annually
- The scheme is available for children who are enrolled in private as well as a public school
- Each student will receive a scholarship of Rs 750 per month (class 1 to 5) and ( 6 to 10)
- Intermediate students will receive Rs 1000 as stipend per month
- The scheme will promote education and increase literacy in the state
- Children will be motivated to go for higher studies
- The entire amount will be transferred to the bank account of the mother
